Here are two articles by Martyn Cowley about Arne Ellila’s Wakefield winning planes from 1949 and 1950.
The first includes a plan, some pictures and a discussion of flying the 1949 model. A distinguishing feature was the krak-krak gearing system which allowed a motor twice the length of the distance inside the fuselage.
The second article contains similar information for the 1950 model, and pictures of the original model in its present location in the Finnish Aviation Museum. A special feature of this model was the turbulator along the top of the wing.
